The Role

FB Rice is searching for a Senior Marketing and Communications professional at the Advisor/Manager level to provide an exceptional client experience, internally and externally, via marketing and communications that deliver on the team purpose.

This is a full time, 1 year fixed-term position based in our Melbourne or Sydney office. 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Brand management including: advising on the use of all brand assets and ensuring all marketing materials adhere to the brand guidelines; continual development of the brand assets including Microsoft style templates; internal education on brand and the use of brand assets, and how to build personal profiles using relevant channels and brand assets. 
  • Create, implement and manage content marketing campaigns through thought leadership initiatives.
  • Support BD strategies and initiatives by designing and implementing creative marketing campaigns.
  • Create and implement a digital marketing strategy to attract prospects through all stages of the sales pipeline.
  • Management of website and all digital channels.
  • Lead firmwide sponsorships and oversee all event and sponsorship tasks.
  • Delivery of all external communications.
  • Support internal communications ensuring alignment with external campaigns.
  • Work within and manage relevant marketing budget items.
  • Oversee and mentor the Events and Sponsorship Coordinator

The successful candidate must have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ marketing experience, preferably in a professional services environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Intermediate/Advanced InDesign and Photoshop skills
  • Experience with CRM platforms and HTML editing - highly desirable
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Attention to detail, excellent writing, communication and proof reading skills
  • A skilled background in marketing concepts and practices including brand, internal and external communications, digital media, client relationship management
  • Understanding of marketing concepts and practices including cooperative marketing, brand fundamentals, basic PR, sales techniques, client relationship management, social media etc
  • Curiosity and initiative along with a commercial mindset

Experience: Desirable

  • Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Experience in budget management
  • Experience in managing websites and digital content, developing marketing campaigns that build the opportunity pipeline, producing formal client communications including tenders and proposals, event management, and managing projects to agreed budgets and deadlines
  • Experience in developing and maintaining websites
  • Experience with digital media in a B2B environment
  • Experience mentoring and coaching
  • Knowledge of Patent & Trade Mark practices
