Our Biotechnology group represents an extensive and impressive range of local and international clients. We have a rare and exciting permanent opportunity for a qualified Patent Attorney to join FB Rice.*

Your New Role
The role will involve intellectually stimulating and challenging work with exposure to a broad range of A list clients, including patent drafting and advice for large corporates, ASX-listed companies and leading universities and research organisations.

You will bring
To be considered for this opportunity, you will be an Attorney or an Associate (Trans-Tasman Patent Attorney or equivalent overseas qualified attorney), with residency in Australia or New Zealand and with professional experience focussing on the biotechnology sector.
It is also important to have:
- Excellent academic background with a PhD level qualification in a subject relating to Biotechnology
- Excellent English language skills
- Superior analytical skills
- An outstanding eye for detail
- Ability to communicate technical concepts accurately and succinctly
- Rigorous time management skills with the ability to deliver results within specific timeframes
- Ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously
